Cities with big personalities, charming coastal towns, immense national parks – North America has them all. There’s no shortage of adventure to be had on an expedition cruise here. You’ll have a range of ways to experience local culture and get closer to nature on included and optional activities, guided by your Expedition Team. Here are some:

Historic Eastport Walking Tour

Enjoy a leisurely guided walking tour of Eastport’s historic downtown.

Wildlife spotting

See wild horses galloping on the sandbars of Sable Island on the Atlantic coast or watch for sea lions and whales in the Pacific waters around the San Juan Islands.

North American wildlife

The wildlife of North America is as diverse as its habitat. Among the many animals you might see are black-tailed deer, otters, snowshoe hares, marmots, salamanders, hawks, eagles, bears and whales. You’ll see a diverse array of flora and fauna on visits to national parks like Redwood, Olympic, Acadia and Torngat.

Coastal city charm
