Views, wildlife and Inuit life 

Led by Inuit guides, this hike takes you along the picturesque Salmon River, offering stunning views of the tundra, Bylot Island and the peaks of the Arctic Cordillera Range.  

As you hike, look out for Arctic flora and fauna, including migratory birds. Your guides will share stories, enriching your understanding of the land and its cultural significance. You’ll also learn about the unique ecosystem of the Salmon River and its role in the lives of the people of Pond Inlet.
