Join volunteers on a beach, river or canal clean-up in Dublin and help protect the local environment. 
  • Join a beach clean-up and give back to the area we visit 

  • Learn how locals work with coastal cleaning in a coastal area near Dublin 

  • Learn about the area and the local wildlife and people 

  • You’ll be provided with a hand picker, gloves and bag 

Coastal conservation  

Take part in a local beach clean-up, help protect coastal habitats, and give back to the local communities we visit. We work with Clean Coasts, a non-profit organisation that works with volunteers to protect Ireland's beautiful beaches, seas and marine life. Let your volunteer guide you along Dublin’s beaches and waterways as you collect marine litter.

Practical information

  • Language: English.

  • Remarks/requirements: Guests must wear flat and comfortable shoes, and clothing appropriate for the weather.

  • Walking information: Variable dependent on site and level of cleaning.

  • Wheelchair accessible: No.
