Uummannaq rests beneath its iconic 3855-ft heart-shaped mountain, framed by soaring cliffs, glaciers, and drifting icebergs.  

This remote Arctic town offers a rich blend of history and culture. Explore its museum housing Qilakitsoq mummy replicas, traditional crafts, kayaks, and relics of polar explorers. Wander through the unique granite church and well-preserved peat houses. Finish with a scenic hike to the traditional Santa Claus summer home nestled below the mountain’s towering peak.
