No better way to take in some of the Falklands landscape features then by air! Come fly with us in one of our fleet of five twin engine Britten-Norman Islander aircraft operated by the Falkland Islands Government Air Service (FIGAS). You will be collected from the pier for a 15 minute drive down to the airport, where you will be met by your pilot.

Your pilot will give you a full pre-flight safety briefing, and issue you with a complimentary scenic air tour booklet, which gives you information on the places you may see plus a brief history of FIGAS.  A map with points of interest will also be included.  On the plane, each passenger will have a headset to be able to listen to the pilot and converse with each other. Your flight will approximately be a 35 minute adventure giving you a taste of the rugged mountainous terrain, wild landscapes and the natural coastal beauty of this part of the Falkland Islands.

A few places of interest you may see are, Stanley & Harbour, Gypsy Cove, Cape Pembroke Lighthouse, Lady Elizabeth shipwreck, Kidney Cove, Port Louis, Mount Tumbledown, Longdon, Two Sisters and Harriet, Rock formations locally known as “Stone Runs”, Fitzroy Farm and Bluff Cove Lagoon.  Photos are permitted on the flight, and if you have a keen eye you may be able to spot a whale or two, dolphins or even an albatross in flight. Once you have retuned back to the airport you will be given the opportunity to view the exclusive range of FIGAS Scenic Air Tour souvenirs before your return to the pier.
