With icebergs drifting in the distance, meet the pure Greenlandic sled dog – a powerful Arctic breed vital to survival and travel in the north. See the specialised equipment used for navigating the vast icy landscapes and learn firsthand how Greenlanders prepare for their winter journeys and care for sled dogs in the extreme Arctic climate.

  • Walking or Activity information: Involves moderate physical activity on relatively level surfaces and gentle terrain. Approx. 850 yds of walking on the road, plus 30 yds of rough, rocky ground on the way to the dogs.
