As a guest in Ittoqqortoormiit, you’ll discover the daily practices that sustain this remote community at the mouth of the Scoresby Sund fjord. Wander the village at your own pace, perhaps visit the church and museum, and catch local traditions unfold, such as the daily weather balloon launch, which helps to forecast weather patterns across Europe. You may also be invited to a kaffemik: enjoying coffee, cake, and conversation in a local home.
