What's New for 2028–2029
GREENLAND IN 8 DAYS AND DIRECT FLIGHTS TO/FROM LONDON
A new itinerary means you can explore across Greenland’s west coast in just over a week. Visit iconic places including the Ilulissat Icefjord, Disko Island, and Eternity Fjord, with every day spent exploring and no sea days.
All our expeditions to West Greenland for the new season now include direct flights from and/or to London, easily connecting you to Greenland’s capital, Nuuk, before and/or after your adventure.
ANTARCTICA, WITH MORE WAYS TO EXPLORE
This is our first itinerary dedicated to Antarctica and South Georgia. Aboard our hybrid-powered ship, MS Roald Amundsen, you can experience both the Seventh Continent and the ‘Serengeti of the Southern Ocean’ in 19 days.
On another voyage, you can start your Antarctic expedition in a new way: fly directly from Santiago de Chile to the Falkland Islands, and begin your adventure in Port Stanley, the charming capital.
HELLO, SCANDINAVIA
For the first time, HX is heading into the Baltic and the Gulf of Bothnia, discovering Scandinavia as autumn begins to take hold.
Explore the smaller communities, lesser-known islands, and wild skerries of Sweden’s west coast, or sail along Norway’s coast from cape to cape. As the season changes, forests turn gold, the air grows cooler, the light softens, and the crowds thin.
GO DEEPER IN ALASKA
Experience Southeast Alaska in just 8 days, with expeditions beyond the usual cruise routes, including guided hikes, up-close adventures on the water, wildlife experiences, and more. Choose to travel northbound or southbound, or combine both to discover more of the region, with nearly no overlap between the two itineraries.
Through relationships we’ve built over years of travelling in the region, you can visit communities that rarely welcome visitors, including Kupreanof Island, Metlakatla, and Katlian Bay. Meet local people, hear their stories, and gain perspectives you won’t find on a typical Alaska cruise.

A LONGER SEASON IN SVALBARD
There’s more time to explore Svalbard in 2028, with 22 departures across the season.
Come in spring as daylight returns and the Midnight Sun begins. As the season progresses, we venture further north to the Arctic ice edge and attempt to circumnavigate the archipelago. By August and into September, the sunsets return, bringing darker skies and the possibility of Northern Lights.
CIRCUMNAVIGATE BAFFIN ISLAND
Sailing in and out of Nuuk, this new voyage attempts to take you into the Northwest Passage to circle Baffin Island via the narrow Fury and Hecla Strait. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to explore some of Arctic Canada’s most iconic places, such as Lancaster Sound and Beechey Island.
OCEAN CROSSINGS
On our new Atlantic and Pacific passages, the seas are the itinerary. As our ships move between destinations, these easy, calm days at sea give you time to think, join lectures, and dine well. There are ports of call along the way – from Bermuda and Cape Verde to Salvador, Recife, Florianópolis, Golfito, Huatulco, and La Paz – but the real luxury is having nowhere else you need to be.

Terms & Conditions
i. 5% discount on cabins and 10% discount (the “Offer”) on suites applies to new bookings made from 15 September 2026 to 03 December 2026 (“Offer Period”) for selected HX departures from 01 April 2028 to 31 March 2029. Bookings made outside of the Offer Period will not qualify and the Offer cannot be applied retrospectively to existing or held bookings.
ii. The minimum deposit required under our current Booking Terms & Conditions must be made to confirm the Offer.
iii. Offer applies automatically to valid Tour Codes and only to Tour Code components (including voyage and local domestic flights) and does not apply to optional excursions, pre/post tours, insurance, additional hotel accommodation, transfers, international arrival and departure flights, and group bookings.
iv. Offer is subject to availability and may be limited, amended or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
v. Offer is combinable with the HX Explorers loyalty program.
vi. Offer represents a saving on the “From” price quoted in EUR, based per person and on double occupancy of cabin.
vii. Single supplements may apply. Other restrictions may apply.
