Svalbard rewards those who arrive curious. Our free online course will give you insight into its geology, ecosystems, and wildlife, so you’ll have a deeper sense of what you’re seeing from day one.
The HX Svalbard Course is developed in partnership with the University of Tasmania, ranked number one globally for climate action.
What’s in this course?
The course spans four modules, each of which takes around 30 minutes to complete.
They cover the ocean currents and sea ice that shape life there, the wildlife that call it home, the history of human activity, and why it’s one of the most closely studied places on Earth.
