This full-day tour unveils the wonders of the medieval village of St Emilion – a UNESCO World Heritage site. Situated around an hour’s drive outside of Bordeaux, you’ll discover underground monuments carved in limestone such as the Monolithic Church, the Hermitage and the catacombs on your tour. You’ll also see the Collegiale Church with its stunning 12th-century cloister.
This tour also includes a visit to a nearby wine chateau, where you can explore the cellars and delve into the winemaking process, before enjoying a tasting of locally produced wines.

Remarks/requirements: Please wear light layered clothing and comfortable walking shoes. A warm layer is recommended for the visit to the underground monuments. Transfer time approx. 1 hour each way. Lunch is not included – guests should bring some Euros as not all cafes accept credit cards. The order of sites may vary.
