Venture ashore via our Zodiacs – small expedition boats – for guided walks to see historic or scenic sites.
  • Land in locations where a dock or pier is not available and only accessible by our Zodiacs, usually a beach but can also be a rocky shoreline.

  • Discover small and remote locations which can be uninhabited land, scientific stations, or small rural communities.

Nature landings let you step ashore in places without docks or piers, reached only by our Zodiacs. We land ashore to wild Alaskan shorelines backed by temperate rainforest, thick with Western Red Cedar, Sitka Spruce, and Hemlock, while Lupines and fireweed line the trails in purples and pinks. Some landings take you to abandoned villages, half-reclaimed by the forest, where you can piece together what life looked like here.
