Guided by Inuit women, you’ll learn about the qulliq’s origins, its significance in survival, and its symbolic meaning in modern Inuit culture. This hands-on experience allows you to participate in lighting a qulliq, discovering its traditional use for warmth and light, as well as its deep cultural connection to the responsibilities of women. 

As part of the experience, Inuit elders will share captivating stories and personal reflections, offering a window into Inuit history and heritage.
