Get closer to nature

Join fellow explorers on a Zodiac, a sturdy, inflatable small boat, built to go where the mother ship can’t reach. You might follow the coastline to search for flora and fauna, or head out to where whales have recently been spotted – the possibilities are endless. You’ll thread between towers of glacier ice, gliding over blue-green water, listening for the deep crack of a glacier calving into the sea, and watching for harbour seals and their pups resting on the ice floes around you. With you all the way, our Expedition Team and expert crew share their passion and knowledge.

Practical information

  • Guests must be able to embark and disembark the Zodiac boats with little assistance.

  • Subject to weather and ice conditions.

  • Language availability: English. Possibly in other languages (pending availability).

This activity is available to all guests and pre-booking is not required. All information required will be provided onboard the ship.
