A penguin encounter

Join your local guide at the Jetty Visitor Centre and transfer by minibus to nearby Newan’s Station. Here, 4x4 vehicles will take you off-road across open Falklands terrain to a secluded Gentoo Penguin colony. Along the way, your driver will share insight into local life and the landscape.  

With around 200 breeding pairs, the site offers a rare opportunity to see the penguins up close against a dramatic natural backdrop. Enjoy watching these captivating birds in their natural surroundings.
