Welcome! This is an informal and relaxed evening, where you will not only taste abundant local food and wine, but also feel the traditional warm-hearted hospitality of Madeira. Take advantage of the overnight stay in the beautiful port of Funchal and treat yourself to a dinner at one of Madeira’s traditional restaurants. The culinary specialty of Madeira is ‘espetada’, small portions of beef cooked over an open fire and served on a large skewer. The highlight of the evening is a demonstration of local folk dancing. A group of dancers, dressed in colorful traditional Madeiran costumes, will display the joie de vivre of a rustic civilization. You are welcome to join in and are sure to pick up the steps in no time! This is an evening of fun and relaxation.
