How Can I Use Onboard Credit? 

Our expedition cruises are all-inclusive, meaning everything you need for an enriching experience is covered – dining, drinks, activities, and more.  

For those seeking extra adventure or indulgence, enhancements like spa treatments and shore excursions require a little extra. That’s where onboard credit comes in. Offerings vary by ship. 

Premium Dining

Lindstrøm is our signature fine dining restaurant, where traditional Scandinavian cuisine is reimagined with flair. Suite guests dine here for free as part of their stay. All other guests can use their onboard credit to enjoy exquisite meals in Lindstrøm’s refined, intimate setting. 

Included for suite guests. Available on MS Roald Amundsen, MS Fridtjof Nansen, and MS Fram only.

Premium Drinks

A generous selection of beverages is included, but onboard credit unlocks the very best – vintage wines, craft spirits, and premium cocktails. Perhaps you’re toasting a breathtaking wildlife encounter or simply enjoying your favourite tipple after a day of exploring.

Wellness Treatments

After kayaking in glacial bays or spotting wildlife on remote shores, head to the spa for a relaxing and soothing experience. Let tensions slip away with massages and revitalising treatments, leaving your body and mind refreshed and ready for the adventures ahead. 

Included for suite guests. Available on MS Roald Amundsen and MS Fridtjof Nansen only.

Optional Excursions

This is where experiences become truly extraordinary. Some excursions are already included, but you can add extras like camping under the Antarctic stars, hiking trails carved by penguins, or kayaking through ice floes in Greenland. These are the excursions that stay with you long after the journey ends. Availability varies by destination.

Laundry Services

We’ll keep your wardrobe fresh so you can travel more freely and focus entirely on exploring. Onboard credit can be applied to professional laundry services on board, ensuring your layers stay clean, comfortable, and ready for every adventure. 

Included for Suite guests. Not applicable on MS Santa Cruz II.

Shopping onboard

From meaningful keepsakes to extra layers for polar winds, the onboard shop is another place to spend your onboard credit in. Discover treasures that enhance your journey, from practical essentials to thoughtful mementos for yourself or loved ones. 

The HX Foundation 

You can donate your onboard credit to the HX Foundation, which funds conservation, scientific research, and community initiatives in the regions we explore. Every contribution helps us create a meaningful, lasting impact through each journey. 

As part of our current sale, first-time HX guests can enjoy up to $4,000 off plus $250 per person onboard credit to enhance their expedition.

Is everything else still included?

Yes. All HX voyages remain fully all-inclusive. Onboard credit applies only to optional experiences.

Can I transfer my credit to another guest?

No. Credits are non-transferable.

What if I don’t use all my credit?

Any unused credit will expire at the end of your voyage. If you wish, you can donate remaining credit to the HX Foundation. Please contact ship reception for assistance.

What is the current onboard credit offer?

As part of our current sale, first-time HX guests can enjoy up to $4,000 off plus $250 per person onboard credit to enhance their expedition.
