Leaving Tasiilaq behind, follow the river as it winds gently through the valley, flowing between mountains and open meadows and stunning views opening up in every direction. There is little to do here but breathe the fresh air, listen to the running water and take in the colours of the landscape, and that is exactly what makes it such a peaceful and authentic Greenlandic experience.
Practical information
Walking or Activity information: Approx. 4-5 km over two hours. Walk on hilly roads and gravel path with a gradual ascent out of town into the valley, uneven surfaces in places, no steps and no handrails.
