I’m thrilled to share the highlights of my first week as the new CEO of HX - Hurtigruten Expeditions, where I embarked on an unforgettable journey to breathtaking Greenland aboard the magnificent MS Fridtjof Nansen.

From the moment I stepped on board, I was captivated by the unique blend of adventure, education, science, and luxury that defines HX. Experiencing the pristine beauty of the Arctic was truly magical. Imagine passing by the brilliant blue and white of the UNESCO iceberg fjords, witnessing majestic glaciers close-up and standing in awe before the colossal icebergs in Ilulissat. These awe-inspiring sights are the essence of our expeditions.

One of the most memorable experiences was meeting our exceptional crew and expedition team, led by Captain Raymond. Their passion and dedication ensure every journey is safe, seamless, and extraordinary. Our expert Expedition team's comprehensive safety briefing and the invigorating hike to the iceberg fjords exemplify our commitment to guest excellence.

And of course the hotel team on board made sure that every comfort and craving was taken care of, the culinary experience, Spa services and the general high level of service coupled with genuine friendliness and true hospitality made it all a complete memorable experience.
