Hike to the top of “Ilhéu”,
Observe fauna and flora.

Opportunity to snorkel.
Departure from the marina towards “Ilhéu do Farol” (Lighthouse Islet). Then start the ascent on foot to the top of the “Ilhéu” where you can observe the fauna and flora there, places with geological interest as well as an extraordinary panoramic view to Porto Santo Island. A stop is made by the lighthouse where you can enjoy a tasting of local and regional products. Finally, before returning back to the ship, you are given the opportunity to snorkel in an area that is considered a marine reserve since 2008.

Walking information: This tour has a walking component with ascents & descents. There are 713 steps to get to the top of the islet at 124 meters above sea level.
