HX/UTAS Antarctic Courses
Prepare for your journey to the white continent by completing our education programme, developed in partnership with the University of Tasmania.
Our Antarctica Courses are developed in partnership with the University of Tasmania and its Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), designed to transform you from a visitor into a confident, inspired explorer.
There are two courses:
1. Introductory Antarctic Course:
A free, self-paced overview of Antarctica, designed to spark curiosity and prepare you for your voyage. You must complete this before progressing to the next course.
2. Antarctica: A Journey of Discovery with HX & UTAS:
A new post-expedition course that takes a deeper dive into Antarctic science and sustainability. Completing it earns you an official UTAS accreditation, which can count towards future study. It’s priced at €350, or €250 for HX Explorers members (membership is free to sign up).
