Day 1: Tromsø city tour
Today you’ll enjoy a guided tour around the city of Tromsø – often called the ‘Gateway to the Arctic’.
Your day begins with a leisurely walking tour of Tromsø's charming streets. Admire the architecture, soak in the vibrant atmosphere, and listen to captivating stories about the city's rich history and culture from your guide.
Next, a bus transfer takes you to one of Tromsø's most iconic landmarks—the cable car. Enjoy a scenic ride up the mountain, soaking in soul-stirring vistas across the rugged landscape and fjords. At the summit, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the mountain-top restaurant, surrounded by panoramic views.
After lunch, we’ll head back down to the city to visit the renowned Arctic Cathedral. The striking design, which resembles a Sámi tent, is a masterpiece of modern architecture. Learn about the building's significance to the local community with your guide.
Your city tour ends at your comfortable hotel where you’ll enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 2: Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, your Post-Programme ends comes to an end.
